Fanny is a coming-of-age family drama directed by Yan England, released in May 2025.
I worked 10 weeks as VFX artist on this film, in Houdini and compositing. The main scene was a sailboat caught in a storm, for which I created and rendered water simulations, procedural ocean, whitewater, fire and smoke simulations, and rain. I also created some small-scale animated jellyfish in vellum for another scene.
